Meet Megan

Hi there! My name is Megan Lafayette, you can call me Meg :) I’m from and currently live in Somers, Connecticut. Somers is located just about fifteen minutes from Suffield. I graduated Cosmetology school in October of 2023 and currently growing my career as a stylist and building my clientele. I'm still a baby stylist, but am passionate about learning, growing, and becoming the best stylist I can be.

 

I've had a love for hair for as long as I can remember. Before I ever went to cosmetology school, I was always the one doing my friends' hair for fun, dances, special events, or honestly just because! Turning something I've always loved in to a career is something I'm so grateful for, and I love getting to make my clients feel confident and beautiful.

 

Some of my favorite things to do behind the chair are beautiful brunettes and lived-in color!

My favorite part about this career is being able to help express and emphasize your beauty and being able to boost your confidence! You deserve to feel good about yourself and getting the hair you adore will help you reach this goal.

When I'm not behind the chair, I'm probably keeping up with my one year old dog, Gunner. He's definitely a handful, but he's also a huge part of my life and keeps me on my toes! I love going to concerts, taking beach trips, camping, and spending time outdoors. I'm also a big fan of cars and motorsports, especially getting out to the racetrack.

I'll also admit that I'm a little addicted to working! On my days off from the salon, you can usually find me working at a gym or babysitting. I'm happiest when I'm busy, meeting new people and doing something I enjoy.

I'm so excited to continue growing behind the chair, meet new people, and create a space where my clients feel comfortable, welcomed, and excited to be in my chair.
